Rustic hand carved bookcase from India made from an antique door frame that was salvaged from the Havelis of Rajasthan with a warm rustic patina that defines character and age.The texture of teak wood is naturally rich and ages exceptionally well .The shelves and the sides are made from reclaimed sheesham wood which is also a hardwood of the teak family.The crown molding has been done in a step down design and adds a finishing touch to the rustic character of the bookshelf.

Great bookshelf! Jan 03, 2012

It is a reasonable price and a little better made then the cheap shelves you can buy at Target/Walmart etc. I bought it to go in my newborns nursery and it just really pulled the room together. The shelf helps me to organize various items and will be used to grow with my child as I place more age related books on it!
