This is a very nice coin belt. It feels sturdy and well made. I was excited as soon as I opened it up, and went try it on. However, it is not exactly like the belt displayed in the picture. The picture shows no coins hanging down between the 'triangles' - but my belt has a total of 8 coins hanging down between creating a large space between the 'triangles'.
Wearing it, I can see all three triangles from the front, but my hips are 37" at the widest point and it looks more like a loincloth than the one in the picture. Although it's adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes, I feel like it would fit someone better who was larger around the hips than me. When I wear it, it is on nearly the tightest setting, down at hip bone level, not up near the waist like in the picture.
This belt connects via a hook and circle, and will fit ladies who measure between 32" and 41" at the top of the pelvis (hip bone) with the perfect custom fit on ladies who measure exactly in the middle, about 36 inches. My hip bone measurement is about 33", and it fits fine.
It's a beautiful piece, and it does look very exotic and professional. The coins are just the right amount of jingly, not too little and not too much. It's not going to disturb my family members in the next room! Surprisingly, it stays in place as wildly as you might shake it!
