Cabinet for things and bed linen storage is called damchi. It is a long box with four legs, decorated with carving and incrustation, with two small doors in the middle. This special type of furniture is used by the people of Jaipur,Rajasthan. As it is a desert city in olden days they paint it with natural colors like green and blue to keep their interiors cool.
